Genesis 1:20-23 “ And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.”
On day five, God created all living creatures of earth’s waters, and all fowls of the air. The Psalmist wrote, “ O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.” (Psalms 104:25) One might read these verses concerning day five of creation and conclude that fowls of the air were brought forth from the waters of the seas, but comparing these verses with Genesis 2:19, we find that fowls were brought fourth from the ground, just as was man; “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.”
Genesis 1:24-25 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
On the first part of day six, God created all members of the animal kingdom, which includes “everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind.” Just as there was created a vast array of living organisms in the waters of earth on day five, the living organisms created on day six were vast in number, varied in size and anatomical design. All living organisms are divided into two categories; the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom. Day three of creation witnessed the introduction of the plant kingdom to earth, and days five and six brought the animal kingdom into existence.
There is an important observation that should be made in reading the creation account given; that being that all things were created “after his kind,” or species. This simply means that one species of animal did not evolve from another. When God created horses, He created horses. When He created frogs, He created frogs. Horses did not eventually come from completely different species through processes taking millions of years of natural selection. Neither did mankind.
This is where a realistic look at evolution’s claims must be taken. There is absolutely no credible science, no archeological evidence, and no findings from the paleontologist’s spade that indicates that one species of any animal evolved from another. There is no fossil record that has ever proven this failed theory of evolutionary science.
Some have argued that the similarities found in all mammals are proof of evolution’s theory, but is this true? If one examined members of the primate species, chimpanzees or apes, would the similalities between them and humans not quickly bring one to the conclusion that all came from lower forms of life through millions of years of evolution? Not at all! In a musical instrument builder’s shop, one might find a violin, a guitar, and a ukulele. Each instrument would be built of wood, with similar trim work and bracing. Each would have strings and methods of attaching those strings to the instrument. All of the instruments would have some type of sound board which would result in vibrations that would produce their unique sounds. While there would be many similarities found between these instruments, it would not indicate that they were the same; but, it would indicate that each was planned and built by the same artisan. If God created all mammals, would there not be similarities in these, His creatures? Would all not have similar organs that would meet the necessities of maintaining life on earth? Would there not be similarities in their digestive, circulatory, muscular and nervous systems? Far from indicating that all living things came into being through evolution, evidence supports the truth that all living things were created by God.
Beloved, there is no scientific evidence to support the claims of evolutionary science. There is none, for none exists. For the past couple of centuries, unbelievers have told unbelievers that God does not exist and that He did not create all things and, sadly, unbelievers have believed their incessant baseless arguments. Today, most will not refer to evolution as a theory, but speak only of it as a proven fact. It is not a proven fact! Far from it! In fact, honest research, and the study of its findings, refute evolution and cry out loudly as evidence for a Creator.
